I'm really excited to make a special announcement - I’ve been invited to join
As you’ll know from My Cloth Nappy Journey even though I was set on using cloth nappies with H I found taking the leap quite daunting to begin with. As we got into the swing of things I quickly realised that it wasn’t any harder than using disposables, it was just different.
I kept doing my thing, using my “special” nappies, then one day a couple of friends started asking me questions about them and about how they could get started. Helping them sparked a passion in me, I had previously had thoughts of starting a nappy library, but now I knew I had to do it, I had to help more families make the switch to cloth.
Together with some friends we laid the plans for the library, applied for the funding and started getting everything ready.
Whilst I was busy making these plans another friend from Instagram, mentioned she had applied to join The Nappy Gurus. I had heard of the Gurus before but hadn’t realised that you could apply to join the team, I had to get involved. I wrote a passionate application sharing my journey and everything I have been doing to help families get into cloth, and in the last round of recruitment I was selected to join the team.
This is all very exciting for me, but what does it mean for you?
Not much has changed in the way I will support you with all of your cloth questions, you can talk to me through my blog here, my Instagram page or Facebook page. Now I will also be supporting families who may not know me yet, through The Nappy Guru Place and responding to The Nappy Guru questionnaires.
If you are new to cloth, I urge you to complete a questionnaire and if you note that I sent you it will be passed to me to respond.
Perhaps the most exciting feature of my new role however is that you lovely people will all receive 10% off your orders (excluding any already discounted bundles or Bumgenius) if you follow my affiliate link, or use the code LOUISAD at check out.
As always, if you have any questions or want any support with your cloth nappy journey, give me a shout I’m always happy to talk reusables.
